In order to ensure that Stony Brook University Hospital has uniformity in the purchasing of Information Technology equipment, all Desktops, Laptops and Printers must be ordered through the Information Technology Division. This ensures that the equipment purchased will be able to handle all SBUH applications, develop a Hospital standard, as well as be capable of being supported by the Help Desk and Client Support departments of the Information Technology Division.

Laptop and Tablet Bundles
Choose the equipment that best suits your needs.
Call or E-mail the Help Desk and let us know which equipment you are interested in purchasing. Please be sure to have your State budget number available to charge for purchase. In the event that you will not be using State funds, we will supply a quote that can be used for purchase.
The Help Desk will arrange for a site survey to review the computer configuration and assess network connectivity. A representative from Information Technology will be responsible for placing the order, preparing a purchase requisition, and completing the purchase process.
The equipment will be delivered to the requesting location, not to Information Technology. When the equipment arrives, please contact the Help Desk to make arrangements for the installation.
