These are the Minimum System Requirements for PC's at Stony Brook Medicine

Operating System:  Microsoft® Windows® 10 Enterprise / Apple Mac OS "Catalina"
**Note: We are currently upgrading desktops/laptops that meet Windows 10 requirements, and will continue to support Windows 7 devices until 12/31/20.

Browsers: Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari  **Note: We do not support Microsoft Edge.

Memory: 8 GB Recommended

Hard Drive:  120 GB SSD

Processor: Intel® Pentium® i5 Processor or higher

The Information Technology Division is testing and evaluating these Devices for compatibility with our Network and Clinical Applications. We must ensure that these Devices can conform to all Federal and State guidelines, including HIPAA and Information Security policies and compliance. Until we are confident that we can deploy these devices securely, they will remain unsupported.
