The Technology Services group is responsible for maintaining PC equipment in many areas throughout Stony Brook Medicine and the Health Sciences Center. After a call is placed to the Stony Brook Medicine Help Desk and it is determined to be a PC problem a Technology Services Tech is dispatched. We are one of the many specialist groups who make up the Information Technology Division of Stony Brook Medicine at SUNY Stony Brook. We are second & third level support for all issues that cannot be resolved at the Help Desk level. We cover many areas that range from PC related hardware, to software such as Email, Microsoft office, and access to UHIS from PC's. If it is determined that a problem is not PC related, it is our job to route the call to the correct IT specialist group.
